Features like a 7.5 mm thick, warm and resonant 100% all Maple shell, classic styled tube lugs, Pearl's acclaimed 2.3 mm SuperHoop II rims, and Remo Renaissance heads, insure you that no construction detail has been overlooked, and a beautiful, highly polished lacquer finish in your choice of either Natural Maple or gleaming Piano Black, allows this instrument to look right at home on any stage or performance venue from school band, to professional use.
At the core of our new Concert Snare drum's design is an innovative mix of cable snares, specifically designed to provide a Seamless Timbral Overlap, sonically excelling at every tonal response, from the softest musical passage, to the most dynamic high volume crescendo. Coated Snare Cable and Stainless Steel Snare Cable are uniquely angle mounted together on a single SR-017 Snare Strainer to emulate graduated tension, and to provide both excellent volume and extreme sensitivity, while maintaining a constant, full bodied orchestral snare timbre.
Two sizes are available including 5.5"x14" and 6.5"x14" to accommodate a wide range of tonal preference. For any player in need of a high quality, extraordinary sounding Concert Snare drum, there are few choices better than our Concert Series...and none that compare in price.
